Art Nouveau objects in Riga

Alberta iela 2 (1906)

Architect: Mihails Eizenšteins

Apartment House of Captain Vladimir Bogoslavsky. The house designed in the manner of Eclectically Decorative Art Nouveau with the layout identical to those of the other houses built in Alberta iela. The façade abounds in decorative elements, but none of them stands out. Eisenstein planned to include two groups of sculptures in the attic, but only one was set up, i.e.the central one that has not survived to this day.
